In 2008, Rasheed made his stage debut as an Indian character named Vikram in Shah Sharabeel's directed and produced Bombay Dreams. He played The Duke of Monroth in the musical Moulin Rouge, which was his first significant theater role. Later, he played General Zia-ul-Haq in Anwar Maqsood and Dawar Mehmood's 2013 political drama The Sawa 14 August. In 2014, he played Iftekhar in Anwar and Dawar's humorous piece Half Plate.
Television
Together with Samiya Mumtaz, Rasheed made his acting debut in Daddy as a supporting role. He also garnered widespread praise for his work on television in the drama series Shikwa.
