Ustad Chand Khan sang her first song on All India Radio. After the partition of India in 1948, after the partition of India, she migrated to Pakistan and settled in Multan. She married into a landowner family who supported her art.
Iqbal Bano started her artistic journey with Radio Pakistan and soon became known for her unique singing style.
